June 25th 2007, Our family gathered today in Suisun City by the water front to say goodbye to Aunt Judy. Judy was not only my wife Debbie's aunt but her best friend and soul mate. Judy passed away on the 23rd of May 2007 in Santa Barbara California. Her ashes are to be scattered in the Pacific ocean there by The Neptune Society. Today was just a way for the family to say goodbye formally. We all met at a very nice small restaurant in Suisun which is a small town adjacent to Fairfield. The best thing about Suisun is that it's waterfront is part of the Sacramento Delta waterway system which connects to the Pacific Ocean. After lunch we all walked across the street to the water where we read Judy's Favorite Passage from the Bible and said a few prayers Then we all tossed flowers onto the water so the tide could carry them to the ocean. Her Daughter In-law Randee read a poem which was the inspiration for the title of this site. She is survived by her sons, Mark McBurney(Randees husband)of Oregon. Brandon McBurney and his wife Sanaya of Suisun Ca., and Barry McBurney of Sacramento Ca.,Grand daughter Hailee McBurney of Oregon, Sister Beverly Carroll of Winamac Indiana and several nieces and nephews.
We would like to thank Sharon and Ahmed Haffez for everything they did in Putting this memorial luncheon together.
Our father which art in Heaven
Hallowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
in Earth as it is in Heaven.
Goodbye Judy, We love You.
